RHS™ Racers Frequently Asked Questions

I need pushrods. Why doesn’t RHS™ list the right size pushrods for my engine based on the cylinder head choice that I’ve made?

The reason that RHS™ does not list the “correct” pushrods for an engine is that it is not possible to do so based on engine “stats” like cubic inches, cylinder head model, or factory deck height.

Some variables (not all) that may influence pushrod length are engine block deck height, cylinder head dimensions, camshaft type and specification, and a lot of other characteristics that vary widely between individual engines. Because of these variables, trying to recommend a pushrod for an engine combination based on its general specifications is a lot like trying to recommend a hat size for a person based on his height and weight.

We recommend that you measure using a simple and inexpensive pushrod length-checking tool to verify pushrod geometry, and then Email us, or give us a call at 877-776-4323 so that we can set you up with the correct pushrods the first time around.
